Muhammad Saleem
Director Admin/ District & Sessions Judge (R)

He became the part of legal fraternity in 1983 and started working with a prominent Law Chamber. As a lawyer he conducted verstile cases of civil, criminal and corporate nature; later in 1985, he joined judicial service by acing competitive examination (PPSC). He Served as Deputy Secretary Law in Government of Punjab; also he served as Registrar Accountability Courts of Punjab, Lahore. Moreover on promotion as Additional District & Sessions Judge he remained posted at different stations of Punjab. In 2010 he was promoted as District & Sessions Judge and served as Special Judge Anti-Corruption Court, Lahore and Judge Banking Court, Multan. He gave unmounted judicial services as District and Sessions Judge in Lodhran and Hafizabad, subsequently he also served as Advisor Provincial Ombudsman Lahore.

                        In 2015 he was posted as Director Administration, in the Judicial Academy, Lahore, along with administrative duties he kept delivering lectures to the trainee judges for capacity building. He attended various training of Trainers (TOT) workshops organized by Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad. As well as he also participated in Legal Aid Society conference held in Karachi. Moreover he organized & participated in TOT program conducted by Dr. Livingston Armitage, Director, Centre of Judicial Studies of Australia. He organized international judicial conference participated chief justices of 11 countries and representatives. Besides he had undergone various Professional Courses.


  • 1st and 2nd Women Judges Conferences, at Faletti's Hotel, Lahore, organized by Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore.
  • Gender Sensitization Workshop conducted by International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) at Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore.
  • Four Week Training of Trainers Course conducted by Dr. Livingston Armytage, Director Center of Judicial Studies of Australia, at Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore.

Muhammad Azam

Director Research & Publications / District & Sessions Judge (R)

He obtained LL.B degree in the year 1983 from University of the Punjab, Lahore and qualified PCS (Executive Branch) from the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) in the year 1986.  He joined judicial service as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate in the year 1987 and served at different stations of the Punjab. He was promoted as Senior Civil Judge in the year 2000.  Later on he promoted as Additional District & Sessions Judge in the year 2001 and remained posted at different stations of the Punjab.  
Subsequently, he promoted as District & Sessions Judge in the year 2011 and remained posted at different districts of Punjab as District & Sessions Judge.  He also served as Judge Anti-Terrorist Court, Lahore and Special Judge (Central-III), Lahore. 
He retired on attaining the age of superannuation in March, 2020. After retirement he was appointed as Director (Research & Publications) in March, 2020 in the Punjab Judicial Academy.

Muhammad Siddique 

Director Academics / District & Sessions Judge (R)

MA (Economics), L.L.B

Joined Judicial Service in the year 1984 as Civil Judge through Competitive Examination, conducted by Punjab Public Service Commission. On promotion as Additional District & Sessions Judge, remained posted at different stations of Punjab and also served as Additional Registrar, Lahore High Court, Multan Bench, Multan. Promoted as District & Sessions Judge in the year 2009 and remained posted in Districts Rahim Yar Khan and Vehari as District & Sessions Judge. Also, served as Special Judge Central, Multan.

After retirement, remained posted as Election Commission Pakistan Cricket Board and was also visiting faculty member of Government Gillani Law College, Bahauddin Zikaria University, Multan.

Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad
Director Training/ District & Sessions Judge (R)
He has been attached with judiciary for almost 37 years. Started his career as civil judge and reached the top of his field as high court judge due to his hard work. During his tenure, he worked as: Justice High Court Lahore; Registrar High Court Lahore; District & Sessions Judge Lahore, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Sialkot & Gujrat; Judge Anti terrorism Court for almost 4 and half years Judge banking court Lahore & Director Ombudsman Punjab. During his career he attented no of conferences, workshops & seminars both nationally and internationally.
Due to his excellent grip on law & administration, he got appointed as Director Punjab judicial academy in order to enlighten the upcoming judges with his knowledge and experience.

Arif Ali
Additional Director

He got his Master in Economics thereafter completed LL.B from University of the Punjab. He is energetic and enthusiastic person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task, having a vast working experience. Strong organizational abilities work logically and thinking ahead. Serving the Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore as Additional Director. Looks after the administration, matters of land acquisition & construction work of the Academy and accounts section. Act as convener of purchase committee. Transport officer and Custodian of Mess & Hostel. Appointed as Deputy Director in September 2009. Earlier performed the duties of Deputy Registrar (Judicial) in NIRC many times and protocol duties with the Chairman and members of NIRC. Also performed duties of Law officer behalf of the NIRC and appeared in different High Court, of the Country, conducted Referendums / Elections of various Government and Private Organizations as presiding officer / Returning Officer. Participated in various workshops and seminars arranged by the ILO, PLG&RD and UNODC etc. Participated in different training courses such as “Effective Management”, “Project Management”, Workshop on importance of conductive working environment at workplace and protection against Harassment of Women at workplace.


Imran Mujaddid Rabbani

PhD Computer Science

Got his BCS degree from University of the Punjab in the year 2003 and thereafter completed his M.S CS degree from Govt College University (GCU), Lahore. Area of research was "Diagnosing Multiple Diseases using Expert System". He joined SIMS/Services Hospital Lahore as Computer Programmer in 2006 and served there as In charge Software Development Section. He automated all the Dept. of hospital especially Emergency, OPD and Medical Examination Department MED. In Sept, 2009, he joined Punjab Judicial Academy. Since then, he is serving as Instructor I.T and imparting I.T Skills to the Judicial Officers from all over the Punjab.  He has completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in April 2020. His research area in Ph.D. is "Efficient Cloud Service Selection through agents" and has also published many international articles.

Excellent in working with others. Having Managing skills to achieve a certain objective on time with excellence. Serving the Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore Since 2009. In charge of Administration branches, looking after the affairs of establishment, course coordinator. Performed as stage secretary of all the official functions / ceremonies of the Academy, coordination with resource persons and participants. Dealing with the examination system of Punjab Judicial Academy.
