He obtained LL.B degree in 1982, from Punjab University, Lahore. Enrolled as Advocate in 1983. He Joined a renowned Law Chamber. During practice as an advocate, he conducted cases of civil, criminal and corporate nature. He joined judicial service through competitive examination (PPSC) in the year 1985. Promoted as Senior Civil Judge in BPS-19 in 1999 and posted as Deputy Secretary Law, in Law Department, Government of Punjab. He served as registrar accountability courts of Punjab, Lahore. He promoted as Additional District & Sessions Judge in BPS-20 and remained posted at different stations of Punjab. In 2010, he was promoted as District & Sessions Judge and served as Senior Special Judge Anti-Corruption court, Lahore and Judge Banking court, Multan. He also remained posted as District and Sessions Judge, Lodhran and Hafizabad. In 2015, he posted as Director Admin, in the Academy. He has been delivering lectures in the Academy on different topics. In November 2015, he got training of Trainers (TOT) organized by Federal Judicial Academy; Islamabad He also participated in Legal Aid Society conference held in Karachi. In August 2016, again he participated in TOT program conducted by Dr. Livingston Armitage, Director, Centre of Judicial Studies of Australia. He as a Director Admin organized and assisted different workshops and conferences at national level. He also assisted to develop linkages and collaborations with many institutions i.e. LUMS, Federal Judicial Academy, Civil Services Academy, Directorate of Training, Income Tax Academy, PTV and  KPK Academy.

 

Arif Ali

He got his Master in Economics thereafter completed LL.B from University of the Punjab. He is energetic and enthusiastic person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task, having a vast working experience. Strong organizational abilities work logically and thinking ahead. Serving the Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore as Additional Director. Coordinator of all branches of the Academy. Looks after the administration, matters of land acquisition & construction work of the Academy and accounts section, besides such other duties as may be assigned. Act as convener of purchase committee. Transport officer and Custodian of Mess & Hostel. Appointed as Deputy Director in September 2009. Earlier performed the duties of Deputy Registrar (Judicial) in NIRC many times and protocol duties with the Chairman and members of NIRC. Also performed duties of Law officer behalf of the NIRC and appeared in different High Court, of the Country, conducted Referendums / Elections of various Government and Private Organizations as presiding officer / Returning Officer. Participated in various workshops and seminars arranged by the ILO, PLG&RD and UNODC etc. Participated in different training courses such as “Effective Management”, “Project Management”, Workshop on importance of conductive working environment at workplace and protection against Harassment of Women at workplace.

She got her masters in English Literature thereafter completed her LL.B from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She is an ambitious and dedicated professional with an adoptable approach to work. Excellent in working with others. Having Managing skills to achieve a certain objective on time with excellence. Serving the Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore Since 2009. In charge of Administration branches, looking after the affairs of establishment, course coordinator. Performed as stage secretary of all the official functions / ceremonies of the Academy, coordination with resource persons and participants. Dealing with the examination system of Punjab Judicial Academy.

 

Mustafa Gardezi
Assistant Director Accounts

He is self-motivated and results driven finance professional with over 10 years of experience in finance experience. Skilled in numerous finance, auditing and accounting fields. Excels at handling complex assignments effectively and possesses the confidence to work as part of a team or independently.  He had served TSS (Total Security Services Ltd.) as an Assistant Financial Controller in London for 3 years and then moved to Dubai in British Originated advertising agency as a Finance Manager. He has rich experience in Sage Payroll, Pegasus Opera, Time Gate and MS Office products. In Finance, led the entire accounting & financial system of the Organization including. Ad-hoc reports, accounts and financial reports, Payroll Management, projections, cash flows, budgeting, legal & compliance.

 

Farah Shaheen

Research and Reference Officer/Librarian

Got her MLIS (Master in Library and Information Science) degree from University of the Punjab in the year 2008 and thereafter, completed her LL.B degree from the same University. In the year 2009, on the basis of her qualification she was selected as a Research & Reference Officer / Librarian at Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore and she is serving there as a pioneer Research & Reference Officer / Librarian since 2009.
