Concluding ceremony of One week workshop on “Procedural Competency” of Civil judges Cum Judicial Magistrates of various districts of Punjab (Batch V) and One week orientation training course for Civil judges Cum Judicial Magistrates from Baluchistan was held yesterday at the Punjab Judicial Academy Auditorium (15th March, 2013).
While addressing, Chief Guest, Mr. Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Lahore, said that we live in a poor country. People face hardships due to sky rocketing prices and can’t afford for approaching higher courts for their grievances. It is our responsibility to provide high quality justice at the very first level of court of the province. He added we have high esteem to the people of other provinces especially judges from Balochistan to come here and attended the training course.
Chief Guest also pays tribute to Mr. Justice (R) Tanvir Ahmed Khan, Director General Punjab Judicial Academy for strengthening the Punjab Judicial Academy to the state- of the art training institute in the whole country and appreciates his team’s work.
Earlier, in welcome address, the Director General of PJA, Justice (R) Tanvir Ahmed Khan said, that civil Judges has to play its due role by providing cheap and quick justice at the doorstep of litigants according to the Instruction laid by Islam and Quran.
Senior Judge of LHC, Mr. Justice Sh. Najam ul Hassan, Honorary Consultant PJA, Mr. Justice (R) Khalil ur Rehman Khan, Senior MIT, Mr. Justice (R) Kazim Ali Malik and Registrar Sardar Ahmad Naeem also attended the ceremony.
