Concluding ceremony of One week workshop on “Procedural Competency” of Civil judges Cum Judicial Magistrates of various districts of Punjab (Batch VI) held on 21st March, 2013 at the Punjab Judicial Academy Auditorium. The ceremony was graced by Hon’able Mr. Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Senior Judge Lahore High Court, Lahore and trainees were given shields with certificates.
Hon’able judge said that district judiciary is pillar of judicial system and judicial officers are required to enhance themselves with legal knowledge to ensure dispensation of justice on merit. He advised the judicial officers to carry out process of identification parade vigilantly and record evidence personally. He also advised to take utmost care while carrying out criminal proceedings and avoid mistakes so that guilty people should not go scot-free.
In the welcome address, the Director General, Punjab Judicial Academy, Justice (R) Tanvir Ahmed Khan said that judiciary has to perform its due part by offering affordable and rapid rights at the front door of the public for the treatment of uncertainty and doubts.
Senior MIT Mr. Justice (R) Kazim Ali Malik, Registrar Sardar Ahmad Naeem and officers of LHC also attended the ceremony.
