Capacity Building Training Course for Addl. District & Sessions Judges from Punjab

In order to reduce the number of pending cases and to decide the same on merit, a  professional crash course took place for Addl. District & Sessions Judges from Punjab at the PJA. The main purpose of the course was to enhance and build the capacity of the judges. This course was concluded on April 7, 2012 and the closing ceremony was presided over by Mr. Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Lahore.  He stated that litigation in Punjab  is 84% of the entire litigation of  Pakistan. None the less he was confident that our judiciary can cope with the challenge by enhancing the number of judges and providing capacity building trainings.
