The Chief Justice of Nepal, Ram Prasad Shreshta, visited the Punjab Judicial Academy where he was apprised about the training process of judicial officers and also briefed on the National Judicial Policy for the expeditious disposal of cases.
The Director General of the Academy, Justice (R) Tanvir Ahmed Khan and other members received the foreign judicial dignitaries and later briefed the Nepali Chief Justice and other members about the functioning and achievements of the academy. LHC Chief Justice, Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhary and other judges of the Lahore High Court were also present on the occasion. The foreign delegation were also shown various sections of the academy and apprised about how the judges are trained on the professional side therein.
