Lahore, May 17, 2025 — The Punjab Judicial Academy (PJA) held the concluding ceremony of a specialized training session on “Forensic Insight, Medico-Legal, Autopsy and Arms & Ammunition” at its auditorium in Lahore. The event brought together key faculty and administrative members of the Academy, including Director Research and Publication Mr. Abid Hussain Qureshi, Director Project and Planning Mr. Irum Ayyaz, Senior Instructors Ms. Ayesha Khalid, Mr. Khalid Khan, Ch. Zafar Iqbal, Mr. Shahid Hussain, Mr. Nadim Anjum, Mr. Nadeem Tabassam, and Deputy Director Mr. Umar Daraz.
The Honorable Director General, Mr. Justice Sardar Ahmad Naeem, graced the occasion and delivered the keynote address. In his remarks, Justice Naeem congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the training and underscored the vital role that forensic and medico-legal knowledge plays in the fair and effective administration of justice.
He emphasized that judicial officers equipped with contemporary forensic insight are better positioned to assess evidence, understand complex medico-legal reports, and deliver well-informed judgments. Justice Naeem praised the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants and commended the efforts of the Academy’s faculty in delivering a well-structured and practical training module.
He reaffirmed the Punjab Judicial Academy’s commitment to continuing professional development through specialized trainings that respond to the evolving needs of the justice sector.
