Inaugural Ceremony of Specialized Judicial Training Session

Lahore, May 12, 2025 — The Punjab Judicial Academy inaugurated a specialized training session focusing on critical areas such as forensic science, medico-legal and autopsy concepts, arms and ammunition, personal development, stress management, and cybercrimes.

The ceremony was led by the Honorable Director General, Mr. Justice (R) Sardar Ahmad Naeem, who delivered the keynote address. In his remarks, the Honorable DG highlighted the following key points:

  • The imperative for judicial officers to acquire multidisciplinary knowledge and practical skills to effectively meet the demands of modern adjudication.
  • The vital role of forensic science and medico-legal procedures in ensuring justice, especially in criminal trials.
  • The Academy’s commitment to holistic training, incorporating modules on stress management and personal development to promote the mental well-being and professional resilience of judges.
  • The growing threat of cybercrime and the need for a technically informed judicial response rooted in legal foresight.
  • The importance of active engagement with faculty and experts to maximize the training's impact.

Senior members of the Academy’s administration and faculty, including Mr. Hafeez Ullah Khan, Mr. Abid Hussain Qureshi, Ms. Irum Ayyaz, Ms. Ayesha Khalid, Mr. Khalid Khan, and Ch. Zafar Iqbal, were also present.

The session marks a continued step in the Academy’s mission to promote professional excellence and ethical integrity among the judiciary.
