The inaugural ceremony of the "Four Days Specialized GBV Related Training Program 2023-24 for Additional District & Sessions Judges (Batch-17)" took place on 29th July 2024 at 09:00 a.m. in the Punjab Judicial Academy, chaired by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sardar Ahmad Naeem, Former Judge, Lahore High Court, Lahore, Director General, PJA and attended by the followings:
- Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Director Academic/Program, PJA
- Ms. Bushra Zaman, Director (Research & Publications), PJA
- Mr. Mahmood Azam, AD&SJ/Senior Instructor, PJA
The session began with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Subsequently, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sardar Ahmad Naeem, Director General of PJA, greeted the participants and highlighted the main objectives of the training program. The program is designed to improve the abilities of Judicial Officers for promptly and effectively handling cases related to Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
Following that, Mr. Mahmood Azam, AD&SJ/Senior Instructor PJA, briefed the participants about the Code of Conduct to be followed during Four Days Specialized Training Program on Gender-Based Violence (GBV). For pictures, Please click here.
