In recognition of his service for the judiciary, Judicial Academy and the welfare of the staff of both the institutions. PJA organized a farewell in the honor of the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti, Chief Justice, Lahore High Court, Lahore / Chairperson PJA on March 6, 2024.
On his arrival, the Hon’ble Chief Guest was received by the Faculty and Staff of the Academy with the standing ovation that lasted for at-least 5 minutes, the gratitude could be seen on the faces of the staff while receiving the Hon’ble Guest. The Hon’ble Chief Guest was made to un-vail the plaque at the entrance door of the PJA officers mess.
After recitation from the verses of Holy Qur’an, Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General on behalf of Faculty and Staff of PJA thanked the Hon’ble Chief Justice, Lahore High Court, Lahore / Chairperson PJA for taking out time from his busy schedule to be among its Academy staff. The Director General highlighted the visionary steps taken by his Lordship for improvement in the judicial system and creating easements for the judicial officers and litigants. Further, his keen interest in the development of PJA was highlighted as well. Concluding his remarks, the Director General thanked the Hon’ble Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Lahore for his kind and just attitude towards the development of the Academy and capacity building of its staff.
It is very first opening remarks, his Lordship, Mr. Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to regularize the services of PJA employees and emphasized the importance of dedication and vigilance in fulfilling duties for the institution's advancement.
The Hon’ble Chief Justice encouraged the employees to prioritize their responsibilities / duties for personal improvement as well as betterment of the institution; he said our every action and every step should be for the progress of the institution, which shall surely improve once personal well-being.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a souvenirs and a photo album to the Hon’ble Chief Justice by the Acting Director General on behalf of the Faculty and Staff of the Academy, followed by a standing farewell to the Hon’ble Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Lahore by the staff.
