On Monday, 15th January, 2024, from 11:15 – 12:30 p.m.
Mr. Khalid Naveed Dar, District & Sessions Judge (R), conducted webinar session for the Civil Judges-cum-Magistrate from Multan & Rawalpindi Divisions on the topic “Exposure about Judicial Order and Executive Order, Discharge and Acquittal”. The participants were sensitized on the different aspects of Judicial Order, Executive Order, Discharge and Acquittal. On Tuesday, 16th January, 2024, Mr. Khalid Naveed Dar, District & Sessions Judge (R), conducted the webinar session for Civil Judges-cum-Magistrates from Sahiwal & Sargodha Divisions on the topic “Admissibility of Statement u/s 164 Cr.PC and Procedure of Identification Parade”. During the webinar, learned Resource Person discussed the relevant legal aspects of statement u/s 164 and procedure of identification parade. On Wednesday, 17th January, 2024, Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Aujla, District & Sessions Judge (Rtd.) conducted a webinar session for the Judges from Bahawalpur & D.G. Khan on the topic “An Overview of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR), its Application in Litigation before Courts with reference to latest Amendments”. During the webinar session, the learned Resource Person highlighted latest amendments in ADR laws and their application in cases before District Courts. On Thursday, 18th January, 2024, Ms. Badria Khalil, Head of Applied Linguistics Department, Kinnaird College for Women University, Lahore, conducted a webinar session for the Judges from Faisalabad & Gujranwala Divisions on the topic “English Language, Communication & Writing Skills”. The learned Resource Person highlighted the need of English Language skills for the judges to be able to communicate effectively in both orally and in writing.
