Week 7 (8th January to 11th January, 2024) of the ongoing Online Division-Wise Distance Learning Training Session for Judges of the District Courts on General Topics has been concluded.
On Monday, 8th January, 2024, Ms. Mahnoor Kazmi, Legal Consultant, conducted the webinar session for the Judges from Sahiwal & Sargodha Divisions on the topic “Rights of Overseas Pakistanis: Legal Framework and Responsibility of the Courts”. During the webinar, learned Resource Person discussed the relevant legal framework, recent legislative developments and sensitized the participants on the issues being faced by the overseas Pakistan. The participants asked different questions at the end of the session and also thanked the learned resource person for her experiential sharing. Click for pictures.

Mr. Abid Hussain Qureshi, District & Sessions Judge (R), conducted webinar session for the Civil Judges-cum-Magistrate from Bahawalpur & D.G. Khan Divisions on the topic “Exposure about Judicial Order and Executive Order, Discharge and Acquittal”. The participants were sensitized on the different aspects of Judicial Order, Executive Order, Discharge and Acquittal. On Wednesday, 10th January, 2024, Mian Ghulam Hussain, District & Sessions Judge (Rtd.) conducted a webinar session for the District & Sessions Judges & Senior Civil Judges from Faisalabad & Gujranwala Divisions on the topic “Courts Inspection – Maintenance of Registers as per High Court Rules”. During the webinar session, the learned Resource Person shared best practices for Courts Inspection and Maintenance of Registers keeping in view the High Court Rules and Orders. On Thursday, 11th January, 2024, Mian Ghulam Hussain, District & Sessions Judge (Rtd.) conducted a webinar session for the Judges from Gujrat & Lahore Divisions on the topic “Preference of Cases wherein Fixed Limit of Disposal is Provided in Law: How to Expedite the Process”. The learned Resource Person discussed laws, procedures and guidelines provided in the various judgments of the superior courts to expedite the disposal of cases especially in the cases wherein fixed limit of disposal is provided.
