The Hon’ble Chief Justice Lahore High Court/ Chairperson BoM, Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore, has been pleased to approve Online Division-Wise Distance Learning Training Session for Judges on Mastering Legal Words, Phrases and Terms Based on Received Pronunciation conducted from 20th October to 04th November, 2023.
The training session inaugurated with the recitation of Holy Quran. In the opening remarks, Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General PJA, shared his views that amongst other skills, mastering legal words, phrases and terms is need of the time for the judges of District Judiciary. These training sessions will not only help them refresh their knowledge but also get a deep insight of the legal terminologies and phrases.
Mr. Muhammad Iram Ayaz, Director Training (Distance Learning) PJA, in his inaugural address gave an overview of the program and emphasized that the objectives of the training sessions are to further increase linguistic efficiency of the Judges.

At the end of each session, detailed Questions & Answers sessions took place wherein the participant Judges fully participated and asked questions/queries from the learned resource persons to clear the concept of the subject.
