The concluding ceremony of “General Training Program (GTP) 2023-24 for Civil Judges-cum-Magistrates (Batch-24)” was held in the Punjab Judicial Academy on 4th November, 2023 at 12:00 noon, Chaired by Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General, PJA. Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Director Academics / Program, PJA, Ms. Bushra Zaman, Director (Research & Publications), PJA & Mr. Muhammad Iram Ayaz, Director Training (Distance Learning) have also participated the ceremony.
The ceremony started with recitation of the Holy Quran, Hafiz Muhammad Tufail, Civil Judge, Sargodha recited few verses from the Holy Quran. After that Mr. Muhammad Azeem Butt, Civil Judge, Bahawalpur offered Hadia-e-Naat in the Honour of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Where after, Mr. Muhammad Ali Amjad, Civil Judge, Sheikhupura expressed views of the batch as representative of participants, about the training program. After that Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General, PJA, addressed the participants, stated that he is sure that all the participants must have learnt a lot after receiving the training which would definitely improve the capabilities & expertise of the judicial officers about quality of judgment writing both in civil and criminal cases in the field and they would be able to enhance the confidence of the litigant public upon the system of administration of justice. Where-after, certificates were distributed amongst the participants by the Chair & Directors of the PJA and at the end group photo was taken.
