Week 7 (September 11 to September 14, 2023) of the ongoing Online Division-Wise Distance Learning Training Session for District & Sessions Judges and Senior Civil Judges on Administrative and Leadership Role has been concluded.
On Monday, 11th September, 2023, from 11:15 – 12:30 p.m. Hon’ble Mr. Justice (R) Mahmood Maqbool Bajwa, was pleased to address District & Sessions Judges (Cadre and Ex-Cadre) from Gujrat and Gujranwala Division on the topic “Role of the District & Sessions Judges: Authority & Responsibilities” through Webinar. His lordship highlighted the important role of District & Sessions Judges and provided actionable insights on use of authority and their responsibilities. Hon’ble Mr. Justice (R) Mahmood Maqbool Bajwa shared his experiences with the participants and guided them on different aspects of the topic. On conclusion of the session, Hon’ble Resource Person answered different questions asked by the participants and appreciated their focus and interest. The participants also thanked the Hon’ble Resource Person for guidance and knowledge-sharing.
On Tuesday, 12th September, 2023, from 11:15 – 12:30 p.m., Mr. Nadeem Ahmad Sheikh, Additional Registrar (Banking & Fund Management), LHC conducted the webinar session for District & Sessions Judges (Cadre & Ex-Cadre) & all Senior Civil Judges from Lahore Division on the topic “Responsibility of Drawing & Disbursement Officer (DDO): Rules & Law”. During the said session, learned resource person highlighted role and responsibilities of DDO and pin-pointed different financial rules to be followed. On conclusion of the session, the learned resource person answered different questions asked by the participants. The participants also thanked the learned resource person for his experiential sharing.
On Wednesday, 13th September, 2023, from 11:15 – 12:30 p.m. Ch. Munir Ahmad, District & Sessions Judge (Rtd.) conducted webinar session for all Senior Civil Judges from Multan Division on the topic “Process Serving Agency and Sheriff’s Petty Accounts: Control & Monitoring”. He highlighted the importance of Process Serving Agency and Sheriff’s Petty Accounts and sensitized the Judges on how to efficiently manage these two important areas. On conclusion of the session, learned Resource Person answered different questions asked by the participants.
On Thursday, 14th September, 2023, Mr. Javed Rasheed Mahboobi, District & Sessions Judge (Rtd.) conducted a webinar session for the District & Sessions Judges (Cadre & Ex-Cadre) from Rawalpindi Division on the topic “Inspection and Monitoring of the Judges by the District & Sessions Judge”. The learned Resource Person highlighted key-points to consider by District & Sessions Judges while conducting Inspection and Monitoring. On conclusion of the session, the learned resource person answered different questions asked by the participants.
