The inaugural ceremony of “General Training Program (GTP) 2023-24 for Additional District & Sessions Judges (Batch-VI)” was held in the Punjab Judicial Academy on 19th May, 2023 at 09:00 a.m., Chaired by Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General, PJA. Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Training (Distance Learning), PJA, Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Director Academics / Program, PJA and Ms. Bushra Zaman, Director (Research & Publications), PJA have also participated the ceremony.
The proceedings started with recitation of the Holy Quran. Where after, Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General, PJA welcomed the participants & highlighted the salient features of training program, which is designed to enhance the quality of judgment writing in civil and Murder Trial cases.
Thereafter, Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Director Academics / Program, PJA briefly explained the importance of training program and gave its orientation. He also briefed the participants about the sequel of sessions & evaluation criteria.
