The inaugural ceremony of “General Training Program (GTP) 2023-24 for Additional District & Sessions Judges (Batch-IV)” was held in the Punjab Judicial Academy on 8th May, 2023 at 09:00 a.m., Chaired by Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General, PJA. Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Training (Distance Learning), PJA, Mr. Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Director Program / Academic, PJA and Ms. Bushra Zaman, Director Research & Publication have also participated the ceremony.
The proceedings started with recitation of the Holy Quran. Where after, Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General, PJA welcomed the participants & highlighted the salient features of training program, which is designed to enhance the quality of judgment writing in civil and criminal cases.
Thereafter, Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Training (Distance Learning), PJA briefly explained the importance of training program and gave its orientation. He also briefed the participants about the sequel of sessions & evaluation criteria.
