A delegation from Shariah Academy, Islamabad, visited the Punjab Judicial Academy on 19th January, 2023. The purpose of this visit was to learn about training methodologies, functions and basic structure of the Academy. The delegation was warmly welcome by the worthy Director General PJA and learned Directors of the Academy.
Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Trainings (Distance Learning), gave presentation about functions, training methodology, structure, and activities of the Academy. He highlighted the core values and objective of the training programs for capacity building of District Judiciary Judges, Staff and other stakeholders. Further elaborated number of training sessions, conferences, seminars conducted in previous years. Moreover, the future plans of basic functions of the PJA and lastly about under construction Punjab Judicial Academy at Kala Shah Kaku, which is a huge project equipped with all latest facilities i.e. lecture rooms auditorium, hostel, mess, webinar studio and sports facilities.
In a discussion with the members of the delegation, Hon’ble Director General PJA discussed future plans of the Academy and offered collaboration to the Shariah Academy at all academic levels. The members of the Shariah Academy thanked the Hon’ble Director General for generous offer and all the arrangements made by the Academy.
After presentation and formal discussion, the learned members of the delegation visited different departments of the Academy including classrooms, mess, hostel, and library. Souveniers were presented to the delegation by worthy Director General PJA. The visit concluded with lunch and a group photo.
