The concluding ceremony of “of General Training Program (GTP) 2019-20 for Civil Judges-cum-Magistrates (Batch-31)” and One Week Performance Evaluation Training Program 2022 for Senior Civil Judges-cum-Magistrates was held on 14th May, 2022 at 02:30 p.m. in the Punjab Judicial Academy, which was Chaired by Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General, PJA. Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Training (Distance Learning), PJA, Ch. Muhammad Siddique, Director Academics / Programmes PJA and Ms. Bushra Zaman, Director Research & Publication, PJA participated the ceremony.
The concluding ceremony was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Where after, Mr. Muhammad Owais, Civil Judge, Director, Human Rights Cell, Supreme Court Pakistan, Islamabad expressed his views as representative of participants, about the training program. After that Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Director Administration, PJA addressed the participants. While addressing the participants, Mr. Asthar Abbas said I am sure that all of you would have learnt a lot after receiving the training which will definitely improve your capabilities & expertise in the field and you will be able to enhance the confidence of the litigant public upon the system of administration of justice. He further stated that admittedly, it is the desire of every officer that he /she be promoted at a higher post and I pray that both the Senior Civil Judges may be promoted at their turn at the earliest. Where-after, certificates were distributed amongst the participants by the Chair & Directors of the Punjab Judicial Academy and at the end group photo was taken.
