With the approval of Hon’ble Chief Justice Lahore High Court/ Chairperson BoM, Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore, the Academy has designed Distance Learning Training Sessions for Court Staff in Punjab through Webinar (All Districts & Tehsils) from 22nd March to 14th June, 2022.
The training sessions inaugurated with the recitation of Holy Qur’an. In the opening remarks, Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General PJA, said that Court staff play important role in court work/administration of justice and is an integral part of the judicial system. Therefore, it is need of the time to enhance the capacity and skills of the Court staff. With the use of latest technology for conducting training programs, it has become much easier to provide training to the larger number of Court Staff through Webinars from their place of postings.
Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Training (Distance Learning) PJA, in his inaugural address gave an overview of the program and emphasized that the objectives of the training session are to further increase the efficiency and skills of the Court Staff so they could render more in dispensation of justice.
The subject of inaugural training session was “An overview of Civil Service Rules Punjab, The Punjab Government Servants (Conduct) Rules, 1966 and The Punjab Civil Servants (E&D) Rules, 1999” addressed by Syed Ejaz Qutab, District & Sessions Judge (R), started from 11:00 am and concluded
at 12:15 p.m. The second session of the day addressed by Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Training (Distance Learning) PJA, on the topic “Time Management & Ethics” started at 12:30 p.m. and concluded at 01:45 p.m. For pictures, click here.
In Distance Learning Training Sessions for Court Staff in Punjab through Webinar (All Districts & Tehsils), a webinar sessions on the topic “Relations and dealing with Advocates, Litigants and Court Staff” was conducted by Mr. Abid Hussain Qureshi, District & Sessions Judge (R) on Thursday, 24th March, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. The session was attended by all the District Courts Staff Officers in Punjab. In Distance Learning Training Sessions for Court Staff in Punjab through Webinar (All Districts & Tehsils), two webinar sessions were conducted on 29th March, 2022 all the District Courts Staff Officers in Punjab.
- First sessions from 11:00 – 12:15 p.m. on the topic “Noting & Drafting and Communication Skills” was conducted by Syed Nasir Ali Shah, District & Sessions Judge (R)
- In the second session from 12:30 – 01:45p.m. on the topic “Leave Rules and Maintenance of Service Record of Court Staff”, Mr. Javed Rasheed Mahboobi, District & Sessions Judge (R), shared his knowledge and experience with the participants.
