With the approval of Hon’ble Chief Justice Lahore High Court/ Chairperson BoM, Punjab Judicial Academy, Lahore, the Academy has designed Online Webinar Sessions for Judicial Officers of Punjab (all Districts and Tehsils) on topics relating to Principles of Natural Justice, Equity and Good Conscience, from 16th March to 30th March, 2022.
The training sessions inaugurated with the recitation of Holy Qur’an. In the opening remarks, Mr. Ashtar Abbas, Acting Director General PJA, said that for proper administration of justice it is expedient to properly understand the concept, utilization and importance of principles of natural justice, equity and good Conscience. Now, with the use of latest technology for conducting training programs, it has become much more convenient for judicial officers in Punjab to participate in training sessions through Webinars from their place of postings.
Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Training (Distance Learning) PJA, in his inaugural address gave an overview of the program and emphasized that the objectives of the training session are to clear basic concept of Principles of Natural Justice, Equity and Good Conscience.
The subject of inaugural training session was “Principles of Natural Justice, Equity and Good Conscience – Procedure and Case Law of Hon’ble Superior Courts” addressed by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, Former Judge Supreme Court of Pakistan, started from 01:30 pm and concluded at 02:45 pm. Mr. Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, Director Training (Distance Learning) PJA, conducted a webinar sessions on the topic “Concept of Jurisprudence, Equity, Natural Justice, Good Conscience and Good Public Policy” on Saturday 19th March, 2022 from 01:30 – 02:45 p.m. in Online Webinar Sessions for Judicial Officers in Punjab (All Districts & Tehsils). The session was attended by all the Judicial Officers in Punjab. The learned resource person answered different questions of the participants at the end of the session. See Pictures
