Day-I: 22/10/2012
After the inaugural ceremony of the 'Two Days Capacity Building Training Sessions for The Presiding Officers of Banking Courts in Punjab', in the first session, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jawad Hassan, Judge Lahore High Court, Lahore, shared his experience and skills with the trainee judges on the topic ‘Understanding Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance, 2001 with Case Law’.
The second session was addressed by Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Ayesha A. Malik, Judge Lahore High Court, Lahore on the topic of ‘Judgement Writing under the Financial Institutions Ordinance, 2001’ and also shared with the participants her benign views on vital ingredients and contents to be incorporated in a judgment.
Day-II 23/10/2021
The day-II of training program was comprised of four sessions. The first session was delivered by Mr. Shahab Qutab Advocate on “Executing the decree, issues and procedure”. In the second session, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza, Judge LHC, shared his valuable experience with the trainee judges on the topic of “Reflection from the Appellate Court against judgement and decree”.
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh, Judge LHC, shared his valuable views on the topic of “Reflection from the Appellate Court against executing orders” in the third session. The lecture on “Reading the transaction documents and the statement of the accounts with case law’ was delivered by Mr. Mansoor Awan, Advocate.
In the end, concluding ceremony was held with the recitation from the Holy Quran. The worthy Director General, Justice (Retd) Abdus Sattar Asghar, addressed the participants and congratulated them on the completion of their training session successfully and hoped that this training will enhance their capacity building towards their approach on deciding the matter efficiently. Thereafter, the certificates were awarded among the trainee judges by the Hon’ble Director General, PJA.
