The inaugural ceremony of “Two Days Capacity Building Training Sessions for the Presiding Officers of Banking Courts in Punjab” was held in the Auditorium of Punjab Judicial Academy on 22nd October 2021 at 02:30 p.m, which was Chaired by Hon’ble Chief Justice, Lahore High Court Mr. Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti. The Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Ayesha A. Malik and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jawad Hassan graced the ceremony, which was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Where after, Mr. Justice (Rtd) Abdus Sattar Asghar, Director General, Punjab Judicial Academy delivered welcome address, expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Guests and his views about the training sessions.
The Hon’ble Chief Justice LHC, addressed the Participants and highlighted the main objectives of the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance 2001, as well as, need of affective, efficient Judicial System for resolving the disputes expeditiously. While addressing the Hon’ble Chief Justice, LHC also highlighted the importance of training sessions for the Presiding Officers of Banking Courts to achieve the above goal with the hope that this training program will equip the participants with the legal knowledge and skill, to achieve the objective of qualitative speedy justice delivery in financial system of the country.
The ceremony was followed by a group photo of the participants with the Hon’ble Chief Justice and Hon’ble Judges of LHC, alongwith Director General and Directors of the Academy.
