Training for Judges on Child Justice
The PJA has organized 3-day training program for judges on Child Justice w.e.f 18th November to 20th November 2019, in collaboration with Group Development Pakistan (GDP). Ms. Valerie Khan from GDP and her team shared their knowledge and experiences on the subject.
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Sardar Shamim Khan, Chief Justice Lahore High Court Lahore honored the occasion as chief guest. In his address, he emphasized upon the rights of children and directed the participant to create friendly environment during court proceedings of the cases involving juveniles on either side to ensure prompt justice to children.
On the eve of concluding ceremony on 20th November 2019, the Director General PJA, shared his views and said that the children are the assets of society and due to some reasons, they are victim of social abuses. He advised the participants to decide juvenile cases carefully and provide speedy justice to the juveniles.
